What We'll Be Making (Week by Week) Â September block
Friday 4th September
Friday 11th September
Build your adventure book: Create the pages, bind your book and design a personalised hand cover.
Cover design studio: Decorate your book cover with paint, collage, lettering and creative embellishments, then design your very first adventure.
Friday 18th September
Creative drawing challenges: explore doodle art, drawing games and descriptive drawing challenges where one child describes an object while another illustrates it.
Friday 25th September
Dot painting & pattern play: discover dot painting techniques, create colourful patterns and experiment with different art styles to fill your adventure book.
Friday 2nd October
Pop-up paper engineering: learn how to build exciting 3D pop-up pages, Â moving parts and interactive elements to bring your adventure book to life.
Friday 9th October
Creative inventors workshop: design interactive pages including pockets, flaps, paper lamp that actually works and imaginative storytelling elements to make your book truly unique.
Friday 16th October
Adventure book celebration: Complete your final pages. Add final Adventure stamp. Design a 'this belongs to...' page, write a short message to your future self, personalise your own certificate and showcase your book in a mini exhibition.

Sessions held at the Shenfield Parish Hall, Shenfield, Brentwood. We provide a safe, calm environment for exploration and creative expression.
Common Questions
What age group is the After School Creative Club for?
The club is specially designed for children aged 5 to 11. Activities are tailored to ensure that every child, regardless of age, can engage, learn, and feel proud of what they create.
Do we need to bring our own art supplies?
Not at all! We provide everything—from high-quality paints and brushes to specialised crafting tools. Snack and drink included. Your child just needs to bring their imagination (and maybe an old shirt for messy days!)
How does the club benefit my child after a long school day?
Children will grow in creativity, confidence, problem-solving skills, and focus. They will create a beautiful artwork - and a hugh sense of pride in what they made.Â
What is the schedule and cost?
The club runs weekly during term time 1 hour 30 minutes (4:30pm - 6:00pm). Pricing is structured per term to ensure continuity. You can book for the term at £75 or you can book single sessions at £13.50 per session.Â
